Looking for more information about our Leaside Scout Group?
Our Leaside Scout Group Meeting Location:
We meet at St. Cuthbert’s Anglican Church in Leaside. The church is located on Bayview, just south of Davisville, on the east side.

Outdoor meetings have been held at Trace Manes, the Brickworks, Sunnybrook Park, Serena Gundy Park, Edward’s Gardens, skating at Hodgson Public School, tobogganing at Leaside High, and hiking at Crowther’s Woods. Our Scout Group recently did a one-day outing to Camp Samac in Oshawa. We regularly do weekend camps throughout the year to Woodland Trails Scout Camp, Blue Springs Scout Reserve, and Camp Samac.
Beavers:
Beavers meet on Wednesdays, from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in person at St. Cuthbert’s or outdoors at various venues.
Beaver Colony Contact Scouter: Currently, we do not have any Beaver Scouters. We need more parents to volunteer to be Scouters in order to run our Beaver Scout Group in September of 2026. If you or anyone you know may be interested, please have them follow the instructions here:

If you are not able to help, perhaps you know someone who can. Scouters can be someone outside of the parents of our existing youth:
- Teachers, educational assistants, and early childhood educators
- Parents or grandparents who enjoy mentoring kids
- Outdoor enthusiasts who like camping, hiking, canoeing, or nature
- Coaches, fitness instructors, and recreation leaders
- University or college students interested in leadership experience
- Retired adults looking for meaningful volunteer work
- First responders, healthcare workers, or military veterans
- Artists, musicians, makers, and STEM professionals who enjoy teaching skills
- People who value community service and youth development
- Former Scouts/Scouters or Guides/Guiders who want to give back
Cub Scouts Group:
Cubs meet on Tuesdays, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at St. Cuthbert’s, or at outdoor meetings at various venues.
Scouts:
Scouts meet on Thursdays, from 7:00 p.m. to 9 p.m. at St. Cuthbert’s or at various outdoor meeting locations.
Venturers:
Venturers set their own meeting schedules. They meet regularly with support from their Advisor Scouters. Many of them are currently working on achieving their Duke of Edinburgh award.
